Obituary of Carolyn Isemann
M. Carolyn Isemann, 87, of Stockton and formerly of Owings Mills, MD, died peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at home. Born on October 10, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mable Kirsch. Following graduation from high school, she worked for a short time for the telephone company, before becoming a homemaker, devoting her life to raising her children. Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Carol Clauss and her husband John of Stockton, MD; two sons, Brian Scott Wirts, Sr. of Westminster, MD and Gary Stephen Wirts of Pikesville, MD; two grandsons, Brian Wirts, Jr. and Nicholas Wirts; one brother, Johnnie Christian Kirsch of Idaho and a very special person, Sharon Sass, who was at her bedside at her passing and whom we have only known for a short while, but she had a special bond with Carolyn as a care giver, confidant and close friend. Carolyn and other family members have also accepted her as an additional member of the family. In addition to her parents Carolyn was preceded in death by three sisters, one brother and one granddaughter, Donna Carol Swartzbaugh. At her request, she will be cremated and a graveside committal service will be held at a later date in Portersville Cemetery in Stockton, MD.
