Obituary of Robert L. Culbertson

Robert L. Culbertson, 79, of Salisbury, died on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born on August 19, 1940, he was the son of the late William and Margaret Inglis Culbertson. Robert was a US Navy veteran serving for four years. He then went to Emory Riddle in Daytona Beach where he obtained his pilot’s license. He went on to work as a pilot for Mountain Air Cargo. Robert owned an Army/Navy store in Oil City, PA for many years. After his retirement from Mountain Air Cargo he and his wife, Mary Lou enjoyed sailing to the Bahama’s every year. They would spend 6 months on the boat and then they would sail back to the states. Robert is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Culbertson; two sons, Chris (Holly) Culbertson and Greg( Laura) Culbertson; two step daughters, Kim (Mike) Davis, Carol (Miria) Regan; a step son, David (Diana) Corry; 11 grandchildren, Connor, Skyler, Evan, Ella, Elise, Rielly, Max, Ethan and Tanner, Morgan (Ian) and Molly; a great-granddaughter, Isabella; a sister, Marge Culbertson and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Paula Culbertson and a sister, Mary Ann Culbertson. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 10:00 am at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury, MD. Contributions may be made in Robert's memory to the charity of your choice.
