Linda Nacrelli, 54, of Salisbury, died at her home on Tuesday, May 7, 2019.
Born April 5, 1965 in Wilmington, DE, Linda was raised in Salisbury. As a child she had dreams of moving to Hollywood and becoming an actress, but she traded those dreams in to becoming a mother and to attend nursing school, which she graduated from with high honors. Later in life, Linda became a traveling nurse, working in states such as Connecticut, Vermont and Arizona. In 2010, Linda moved back to Salisbury to care for her father in the last months of his life, after which she retired from nursing to become a private caretaker.
Linda was known for her love of film and TV, pop music from the 70’s and 80’s and animals. She was also known for her kindness and for always being there for someone in need.
Survivors include her son, Ryan Joseph of Bel Air; mother, Kathy of Salisbury; sisters, Renee of Towson and Mary of Bel Air; nephews, Ralph and Daniel and niece Megan all of Bel Air. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Ralph.
A private memorial service will be held for close friends and family at Holloway Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, community members can honor Linda’s memory by supporting local animal shelters and nursing programs and by being a shoulder to lean on for anyone in need.
Arrangements are in the care of Holloway Funeral Home, P.A., 501 Snow Hill Rd., Salisbury, MD 21804.
