Robert Worthington Collins, Jr., 74, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home in Parsonsburg. Born in Crisfield, he was the son of the late Robert Worthington Collins, Sr. and Jean Nelson Collins.
He was a US Navy veteran and a member of the American Legion and a former member of the Elks, Moose and Masonic Lodges. He was a Master Electrician for over 30 years with Union IBEW24. He enjoyed vacations and traveling with his wife, but especially loved his "girls" very much. He will be greatly missed.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Wanda Lee Collins; two daughters, Warrenetta C. Baker & her husband, Laurence of Bethesda, and Michelle L. Thomason & her husband, Michael of Hebron; an aunt (who raised him like a son), Jon Rae Nelson of Crisfield; four grandchildren, Ryan Thomason, Samantha Thomason Capone, Calvin C. Baker, & Henry C. Baker; and three great grandchildren, Marco, Charlotte, & Augustus Capone.
The family will conduct private memorial services.
