Obituary of Bruce Ent
Bruce Lee Ent, 69, of Salisbury died on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Salisbury he was the son of the late James Ent and Virginia Kettner Ent and her husband Joe Pavone.
He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagle. He was an active member with the Baptist Toy Ministry and a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church serving at quest services.
Bruce owned and operated Bruce’s Custom Tile for 18 years and he also owned Bruceie’s Sub Shop in Snow Hill in the 80’s.
He is survived by his wife Marge Ent; children, Anjelica Ent of Salisbury, Dusty Bosler of Colorado Springs; stepchildren, Cori Beauchamp, Laura Schofield, Andrew, Daniel and Kyle Coffey; 12 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother James Ent III, sister, Bernice Adkins, half-brother, Jim Patton, half-sister, Tammy Patton and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Bruce Ent; a step son, Gary Schofield and a brother, Jerry Ent.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 1 pm at Oak Ridge Baptist Church.
