Charles William Bradford Jr., 70, of Pittsville, died Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at Coastal Hospice At The Lake in Salisbury. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Charles William Bradford, Sr. and Catherine Rogers Bradford. Spike was a member of the Elks Club Lodge #7, the Ocean City Cruisers and the Wheels That Heal Car Clubs. He began a family business called East Coast Tile Contractors about 40 years ago and worked together with his sons, until he retired for health reasons last year. He is survived by his fiancee, Burma Raab & her son, Jason Raab of Pittsville; 3 sons, Kenneth Lee Bradford & his wife, Julie of Bishopville, Charles William Bradford, III & his wife, Terri of Ocean Pines, and Michael Todd Bradford and his wife, Deanna of Whaleyville; 7 grandchildren, Devon, Brandon, Kody, Paige, Logan, Jackson and Jenna; a sister, Penny Cable & her husband, Bob and their 2 sons, Bobby and Ryan of FL; and the mother of his children, Sharon Harkum & her husband, Will of Selbyville, DE; 3 small pet dogs, Pee Wee, Bubba and Missy. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 12:30pm at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church in Salisbury with a visitation beginning at 12 noon. Pastor Larry Davis will officiate.
