Ilene Mary Ulrich, 81, of Pocomoke City and formerly of Baltimore City, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 23, 2019 at her daughter's Stockton, MD home.
Born on June 16, 1938 in Baltimore City, MD, she was a daughter of the late Richard Harding Davis and Hilda Mary Affrayoux Davis.
She had been an active and much loved member of the First Baptist Church in Pocomoke City since moving to Pocomoke City.
Ilene worked as the office manager in medical collections at R & R Recovery for 35 years.
Ilene is survived by three sons; Timothy David Ulrich and his wife Sandra of Bishopville, MD, William Henry Ulrich, III, and his wife Clara of Pocomoke City, MD and Douglas Richard Ulrich and his wife Colleen; one daughter, Ilene Kathern Zelechowski and her husband Robert of Stockton, MD; one brother, Henry Charles Davis of Baltimore City; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and a large extended family.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Ulrich, Jr., a great grandson, Trevor James Ulrich and a sister Rebecca Malone.
Family and friends will gather for a viewings on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 3-5 PM and 7-9 PM and on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 3-5PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 5:00PM, officiated by Rev. Wayne Ayer. All viewings and the service will be held at the Holloway Funeral Home in Pocomoke, City. At her request, cremation will follow the service and interment will take place at a later date in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Baltimore City, MD.
