Obituary of Diana and Thomas Waesche

Diana Catherine Andrews Waesche, 74, died on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Hart Heritage Estates in Street, MD. Born in Salisbury, MD, she was the daughter of Edwin Charles Andrews and Anna Dickinson Carruthers Andrews.

She was a 1961 graduate of Wicomico High School and a 1965 graduate of then Salisbury State College. She was employed by the Wicomico and then the Baltimore County Board of Education as a mathematics teacher, retiring in 1995.

She is survived by a sister, Linda Andrews of Salisbury and by many cousins.  

In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Waesche.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 1 pm with a visitation one half hour prior at Evans Funeral Chapel, 3 Newport Dr., Forest Hill, MD 21050. The Reverend David Michaud will officiate.

Interment will be held in Washington United Methodist Church Cemetery (Shad Point) at 1 pm on Saturday, April 14, 2018.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Harford County, 2208 Connolly Rd., Fallston, MD 21047; the Helping Up Mission, 1029 East Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 21202; or a charity of one’s choice.

Thomas Edwin Waesche, 74, died on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at his home in Fallston, MD. Born in Annapolis, MD, he was the son of William Henry Waesche, Jr. and Margaret Alethea Grimes Waesche.

He was 1961 graduate of Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, VA and attended Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. He was employed with Baltimore Gas and Electric Company, until his retirement.

Thomas is survived by his sister-in-law Linda Andrews of Salisbury as well as numerous cousins in both the Waesche and Grimes Families. In addition, he was survived by his wife Diana Waesche, who died on January 3, 2018.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother William Henry Waesche, III.
