Obituary of Lisa McMillan

Lisa A. Biles McMillan, 46, of Snow Hill and formerly of Crisfield, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury.  She passed suddenly of stage 3 Lung Cancer, only being diagnosed on August 19, 2017.  Born in Berlin, New Hampshire on June 8, 1971, she was the daughter of Simone Duquette Biles of Crisfield, MD and the late Darvin Leroy Biles, Sr.

Lisa was an active member of the Snow Hill community and was loved by many.  She was a member of the St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, where she volunteered her time to teach 3rd grade religious education.  She enjoyed being an Avon representative, being around her husband and kids, and having chats with her friends.  Lisa was a loving woman who cared for others and would go above and beyond for them, especially her children.

In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her husband, Joseph C. McMillan; 5 children, Ryan McMillan, Brandon McMillan, Justin McMillan, Brittany McMillan, and Lisa McMillan; 2 brothers, Dwayne Biles & wife, Nancy of Baltimore and Dave Biles & wife, Kris of Baltimore; 2 sisters, Debbie Biles-Bosak of Baltimore and Pam Webb of Spokane, WA; 2 uncles, Raymond Duquette of Princess Anne and Roland Duquette of New Hampshire; a special cousin, J T Biles of Baltimore; several nieces and nephews, including Elizabeth Biles of Crisfield; and other extended loving family members and close friends.

In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, Vance Biles and Darvin Biles, Jr; and a brother in law, Richard Bosak.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church in Salisbury.  There will be a visitation on Friday evening with prayers from 6:00 – 9:00pm at Holloway Funeral Home and also on Saturday one hour prior to the service.  Interment will be private.

The family requests contributions in her memory be made to the family in care of Holloway Funeral Home.
