Obituary of Beecher Davis
Beecher Edward Davis, 85, of Salisbury, died on Thursday, November 23, 2017, at his home. Born on September 30, 1932 in Marion, NC, he was the son of the late Roy Davis and Nora Randolph Davis.
Mr. Davis served in the Maryland National Guard for 4 years. He worked for Pepsi as an Inspector for 46 years. He enjoyed traveling, crabbing, singing and family gatherings.
Beecher is survived by his wife of 59 years, Louise Davis of Salisbury; five children; Debbie Thomas and her husband Wade of Salisbury, Beecher Scott Davis and his wife Charito of Delmar, MD, Lisa Phillips and her husband Elmer of Salisbury, Keith Davis and his wife Dorene of Delmar, MD and Edward Wayne Davis and his wife Jeanette of Salisbury; nine grandchildren; Walter Hill, Malory Davis, Kimberly Roche and her husband Alain, Kristy Davis, Morgan Kinnamon and her husband Matthew, Stephanie Lomax and her husband Robby, Olivia Davis, Emily Davis and Shirley Davis; three great-grandchildren, Logan Hill, Julian and Keiryn Drummond. He is also survived by two brothers, Dean and Doug Davis and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Beecher is preceded in death by a grandson, Spencer Allen Phillips and numerous siblings.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 11:00 am at Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Melson Church Cemetery in Delmar, MD.
