On Wednesday, January 24, 2018, Bonnie L. Little, 77, lost her battle after a long illness. She is survived by her husband, Jim, a sister, Sue Warren, a grandson, Quentin, a favorite niece, Heather Segredo and her husband, George, and their twin daughters, Emma and Lucy, her cousin, Charlotte Trice and her husband, Tom, as well as many other nieces and nephews.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Marion and Edith Jones, and her son, David Little.
She will be remembered as “Miss Salisbury – 1958”, and for starting as a freshman on her college basketball team. She was employed as a supervisor in the Chemistry Lab at Peninsula Regional Medical Center until her retirement. Later, she worked part-time doing lab work for the Salisbury Animal Hospital and the Maryland Racing Commission.
Her interests include counted cross stitching, genealogy, and following college basketball, especially the Maryland Terps. Until her illness, she was active in the local DAR and working on her Wi-Hi class reunions. She will be sadly missed by all of her many friends and relatives.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Officiating will be George Segredo.
