Obituary for Peggy Lou Outten

Peggy Lou Outten
Peggy Lou Outten, 83, of Salisbury, went to her eternal home on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Wicomico Nursing Home. Born in Cambridge, she was the daughter of the late Carl & Lucy Rossy.

She was a graduate of Lee College in 1954 with an Associates of Art degree, and was a member of Parkway Church of God, where she was the organist for over 30 years. She was also an ordained minister in the Church of God and a former chaplain at PRMC. She also received a Bachelor of Science degree from Salisbury State College in 1974. She loved crabbing, teaching piano to many students, cooking, making fudge and Easter eggs. Her greatest desire was serving her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and winning souls to the kingdom. .

Peggy is survived by her children, Carl R. Outten of Salisbury, and Bobbie Jean Robison of Hopkinsville, KY; 2 granddaughters, Chana Outten and Jennifer Robison; and a grandson, Brian Robison; and many other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband in 1983, Robert M. Outten; and 3 brothers, Calvin, Brady, and Johnny Rossy.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11:00 am at the Parkway Church of God in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow a reception at Sunnyridge Memorial Park in Crisfield. Rev. William Reid will officiate.
